Never-ending street scenes and people, motorbikes and cars everywhere. Walk around Hoan Kiem Lake, walk to the large covered Dong Xuan Market and stroll the side streets. Always bargain and start lower than you expect to pay. Check out the shops on To Tich street, close to Hoan Kiem Lake for souvenirs. Try the local foods at the bigger restaurants but don't be put off elsewhere by the small chairs and tables along the streets; the food is great and cheap. Eat heaps! Keith, Old Quarter - TripAdvisor.

I expected this to be a very nice tour on a boat ride through Ha Long Bay but I wasn’t prepared for just how majestic and and mesmerizing the islands and rocks jutting straight up and out if the water would be. As the fog cleared and the sun came out even the water begin to look different in shades of greens and blues. This is a very marvelous spot everyone should get a chance to see it! Dan - TripAdvisor.

Hoi An is a tourist delight. During the day you can wander around the ancient town visiting temples, ancient town houses or pop into one of the many tailors and have a new suit or dress made in 24 hours. At night the town changes to bubbling night life with coloured lanterns everywhere, river cruises, or just enjoy great food or drink at the many restaurants and bars along the river. There’s a night market selling everything you need as a tourist and some shops selling great local artwork. Local open shuttles to get you around and the town has walking only areas, so safe to walk in the daytime or at night. This was our favourite town in Vietnam. Mark - TripAdvisor.

This site is an essential destination on a trip to Vietnam. The tunnels are remarkably well preserved. You can choose to do a short walk, medium walk, or long walk through the tunnels (actually, it's more of a crouch/crawl), or skip them altogether. Even if you don't enter the tunnels there are other features to the site - recreated areas like the kitchens and artillery displays - that are very well set up and make a trip worthwhile. This is a must-see place if you want to understand the war and the history of Vietnam. Karen, Cu Chi Tunnels - TripAdvisor.
