I have been to the Muong Hoa Valley for several times and it is still a stunning area, especially when the rice is present from the end of May until the beginning of September when you see it change from light green to golden yellow just before it is harvested. Eric - TripAdvisor.

Lovely small village and not far from Sapa town, so you can do trekking tour to there very easy. Visit some small house, school, chat with local people..take some amazing photos from beautiful scenery.. Well worth to visit. Maree, Sin Chai Village - TripAdvisor.

When you get to the top of the mountain you understand why people say is the roof of the world. The view is absolutely amazing. We went there by funicular and cable car, leaving the station at 9am. When we got up there it was foggy, but after one hour the clouds just moved and we could see the whole valley. We went down the 500 steps and visited the beautiful temples. From there we took the cable car back. We were lucky with the weather. Definitely recommend! Dave, Summit of Fansipan - TripAdvisor.
