We chose to stay at the Palm Bungalows for a Wedding that we had in April this year. If you do not want to worry about crowds, lifts, and always having to go floors up in a hotel, then this is the perfect choice. We were able to have our own privacy, park our buggy (which is the best method of transport around the island) right outside our front door, come and go in seconds. The bungalows are fully equipped with kitchen facilities etc. Having now been to Hamilton Island (and it is not a big island) I would always choose a bungalow over a Hotel, if only for the convenience. You still have access to the public pool with swim up cocktail bar, 3 restaurants for breakfast etc. A must if traveling as a couple. Kelly, Adelaide - TripAdvisor.

We stayed in the palm bungalows for 4 nights in the school holidays. The accommodation was excellent and I really loved the hammock on the veranda! The room was spacious and close to all amenities. We didn’t hire a golf buggy but walked and used the free bus service. Absolutely loved our island escape holiday. Jaime, Townsville - TripAdvisor.

The Palm Bungalows are comfortable and easy to enjoy. You have your own hammock, on the veranda, to take in a siesta in the afternoon. Or you can lay there and watch the wallabies as they much on grass in front of you. The bungalow comes with a little kitchenette and fridge. The IGA is the one choice for doing a little grocery shopping. There are 2 different "free" shuttles that can take you where ever you need to go on the island. Or you can rent a golf cart ($87 Aus) and ride around the island to discover it on your own. Maria - TripAdvisor.
